Jean de Zoysa

Jean de Zoysa is a self-taught artist from Colombo, Sri Lanka. Drawing for over 10 years, she found her passion for painting mainly to shift focus from a chaotic life, discovering a whole new world to transcend into.

She is a lifelong gardener, as flowers represent the cycle of life to her. Her art celebrates vibrant and pastel colors with textures on abstracts focused on nature and wilderness, bringing a sense of joy into every stroke that ignites the flames of creativity into the hearts of people worldwide.

She mainly uses acrylic on canvas using explorative techniques. As for her inspiration, she draws deeply from the legendary impressionist Claude Monet.

Jean has been featured in exhibitions, virtual publications, and galleries both locally and internationally. She successfully held her first solo exhibition, titled "Beauty in the Midst of Chaos," in 2022.
