Indika Wijewardana's artistic journey was shaped not only by self-learning but also by drawing inspiration from the masters who came before him. Bright and colorful paintings by Andy Warhol fascinated young Indika, leading him to reconstruct people's visages with fine lines of graphite, embracing the essence of pop art.

Indika Wijewardana's journey has been a vibrant tapestry of roles: an interior designer, statistician, marketer, photographer, travel guide, and explorer. Amidst this diverse path, he found his true calling as an artist.

Indika has found his true passion in hyperrealistic pencil drawings on canvas—a medium where he has achieved remarkable success. With pencil in hand, he skillfully captures the intricate details and subtle lines of each subject, bringing them to life with extraordinary precision and artistry.
