KALABOOSHANA NIHAL SANGABO DIAS

Nihal Sangabo Dias is Sri Lankan based painter and a sculptor who is able to capture the very essence of Sri Lanka. His signature techniques of palette knives portray the rural life and culture of the country whilst enabling the viewer to enjoy a glimpse of nature. Actively engaging in the fields of fine arts and differently-abled academia for almost 4 decades, Sangabo attempts to create a platform to use art as a mechanism of communication. His passion for art was realized in the University of Visual and Performing Arts, Colombo, Sri Lanka. 1972 – 1976 and thereafter went on to holding many solo exhibitions and group exhibitions.
